Sounds like Loretha, the leading lady, might find love again in the end. The book ends rather suddenly, before we are made sure.

I started reading the book online. After 28 chapters, the book disappeared. I guess I must have checked it out for a certain period of time. After I was not able to read online, I checked the book out at my local library. I do find the relationships interesting, with the diverse cast of characters. I am rooting for them all.

This is my first venture into this book club. I found it might be a good choice because I a 79 year old widow and I PLAN to go uphill 1/3 rd of the way through. So far ran easy read

I listened to the first 4 chapters of this book on audiobook. Hearing the story as narrated by the author added the tone to the story as intended and amplified the language used within. Then the actual book became available, so I’ve proceeded to read the text from there. Now after chapter 16 it’s time for a comment. It’s an intriguing story. This lady really goes through a lot with her family and friends during the first year following the death of her husband both with their issues and her own.
